Recognize
Begin noticing what has energy, what keeps returning, and what may already be asking for your attention.
Trust
Become more aware of your own knowing and the voices, expectations, and patterns that can interrupt it.

Stay with meaningful ideas and fragments long enough to discover what they may want to become.

Give what is yours a form through writing, speaking, teaching, creating, or whatever expression it asks of you.

Essence to Expression isn't designed to hand you a formula for creativity. It gives you the space and experience to begin recognizing your own evidence.

Before Essence to Expression begins, you'll receive a personalized written CEO Creative Cycle Report based on your birth information.
The report offers an additional lens into the Creative Season you're currently experiencing and what that season may be asking of you. It can help you look differently at what you might currently be interpreting as slowness, restlessness, uncertainty, or momentum.
The report isn't a prescription for how you should create, and it doesn't define your Living Creative Rhythm for you. We bring it into the experience as one lens alongside the far more important evidence you begin noticing in your own creative life.
You remain the authority.Seven weeks of live experience, coaching, and discovery.
Essence to Expression is a live group coaching experience, not a self-study course. We meet together each week in an intimate group of no more than ten participants, creating room for Sacred Writing, experiential inquiry, reflection, expression, and coaching.
There is no weekly homework waiting for you after the call. You may notice an idea returning, a familiar interruption appearing, a change in energy, an unexpected connection or something else entirely. When we meet again, what you noticed becomes part of your everyday experience.
The work happens inside the container. The noticing happens in everyday life.This also means you won’t feel “behind.” You aren't being asked to perform creativity correctly between sessions. You're learning to notice your relationship with it.

How do I register for Essence to Expression?
Essence to Expression is hosted inside the Sacred Writing community on Skool. If you're not already a member, you'll first be asked to create your Skool account and join Sacred Writing. Click on LEARN MORE and then choose the FREE Standard membership. You do not need a Premium or VIP membership to participate. Once you're inside Sacred Writing, you can unlock Essence to Expression.
Questions you may be asking.
You don't need to know. Arriving without a predetermined destination may give you more room to notice what is genuinely asking for your attention. You may have a book, message, business idea, or creative project in mind, but none is required.
Essence to Expression isn't a system for ranking your ideas and selecting the “best” one. It helps you become more aware of which ideas have energy, which keep reoccurring, how you respond to them, and what may deserve more attention.
Writing is one of the practices we use, but becoming a writer isn't the required outcome. ETE is also for speakers, healers, coaches, entrepreneurs, content creators, and others who have something meaningful they want to express.
Bring it. You don't have to abandon an existing project to participate. The experience may help you see your relationship with that work differently.
No traditional weekly homework. The work happens inside our live sessions. Between sessions, you live your life and notice what you notice.

Because this is the first time I'll be facilitating the seven-week Essence to Expression experience. You're receiving a complete program, not a beta version, while also entering a particularly intimate first cohort whose lived experience will help me see what deserves to be preserved, deepened and refined.

I've spent more than 45 years around books and more than three decades working inside traditional publishing, including 10 years with HRW and 21 years with Wiley Canada. I founded SourceCode Publishing in 2018, bringing my publishing experience together with the intuitive coaching and healing work I studied and practiced after leaving corporate publishing.
The work that eventually became Essence to Expression emerged through years of listening to writers and creators, holding Sacred Writing spaces, coaching people through their books and ideas, and noticing something again and again: people often carry far more wisdom, authority, and creative knowing than they recognize.
My role is not to become the authority over your creativity. I'm here to listen deeply, recognize patterns and connections, ask questions that help you see what you may not yet see, and hold space for you to develop a deeper relationship with what is already yours.
